Biography
ORIGINS:
Originally from Decatur, Illinois, Bart Lovins grew up in Elizabethtown, Kentucky; just south of Louisville where his early affinity for puppets and drawing lead to a career in theatre. He attributes a great deal of his drive and focus to the discipline and training he aquired during his four years with Youth Theatre of Hardin County under the guidance of Wanda Majors, Bill and Betty Marsee, and Andy Zagar

Brief Biography:
From singing and gasping for air in the heights of the Rocky Mountains, to dancing in a sweltering trash can in Hawaii; Bart has performed in nearly every state in America and a great deal of Canada and Japan.
He’s had success playing such diverse roles as "Rooster" in Annie, "Eddie Cantor" in Whoopee!, "Ellard" in The Foreigner, "Judas" in Jesus Christ Superstar, and for three years as "Oscar the Grouch" with Sesame Street LIVE!
Bart has a BFA in Performing Arts, collects puppets, and was once part of the nostalgic "50’s" band: Phil Sickley & the Upchucks!
Originally from Kentucky, Bart Lovins is overjoyed and slightly overwhelmed by his sudden return to writing and directing after ten years as a successful actor. Planned upcoming projects include a 3rd year run of The Xmas Files and producing, directing and adapting The Hound of the Baskervilles for Spinning Grave sProductions.
